Great flavors, such a unique menu!

Our favorite place to eat in Hendersonville. We’ve been coming here almost monthly for the past 10 years and have never been disappointed. The menu consists of a great variety of fresh sandwiches, soup and salads, that are always perfectly prepared. The owners, Matthew and Rosie are always there and go out of their way to speak to us.

Awesome food! Best Rueben in town bar none.

Super friendly staff, they serve traditional sandwiches and are some of the best I've eaten.

Very quaint family-owned sandwich shop with a friendly staff. They give you fresh popcorn when you sit down. The green walls are not my style, but definitely goes with the 70's theme of the decor. Portion sizes are decent and the sandwiches quite tasty, though not as good as Monty's subs down the road, imo. I'll definitely be back.

Like everyone else said, tiny portions for a higher than normal price. You could go to a fancier place for less.

Lou is an awesome waitress she always remembers me when I come in even when the owners are away at play the service was awesome the food was awesome wish I could stop by more often so convenient to downtown just no truck parking

Best sandwich shop ever. Plus Matthew and Rose are two of the sweetest people I know. Everyone is amazing. Good is great. Best hamburger in town. Seriously, wonderful hamburger.

We only walked by the shop on our way to the apple festival. But have heard good things about it...and that the owner has a great voice! Heard him sing at the Red's game recently.

My wife had the chicken salad sandwich. She LOVED IT and the chicken minestrone soup!! I had the Three Chopt sub...it wasnt good....it was FAAAAAANTASTIC!!!!! Our server suggested I order it grilled and she was right! Fantastic flavors!!!!

Have always loved this place, for years! Wonderful food and a great business.

First time in and it didn't dissapoint. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Hendersonville.

The food there was hot and fresh the service was wonderful it had a wonderful atmosphere in there the people were friendly the bathrooms were clean I don't have anything negative to say about this place my advice to you would there's a lot of different pubs and places to go around there but you need to check this place out it was a great experience😁

Are you looking for a family place? Soup, salads, subs, and sandwiches ? Kids' menu? Less crowded than restaurants along Main? The most friendly owners who work the kitchen and front of the house? Look no further. Established in 1981, and located a half block off of Main St., you'll enjoy a solid meal with big portions with choices on the menu for even the most picky or discerning appetite. A "Don't Miss" in Hendo.

Server was attentive and friendly. Food was OK. Portions were small. There was a significant communication situation. Server pointed to special on the menu and pointed out it was a good deal because of what came with it. The menu price she pointed to was 8.99. She did not mention we would be charged 10.99. I brought this up when check was delivered and was pretty dismissed and told what a great deal we got. Uh - no for the portion sizes it was not a great deal. We will not be back. Just tell the truth please.

Good food, great service in a quiet, nice little eatery. You have to visit the restroom, it's worth a visit, if you can appreciate old sports memorabilia.

We visited tonight a little after closing. I was really craving one of their reubens and some soup. My husband was met at the door by one of the employees who was so kind and she told him to wait a second. She went in and discussed our order with the owner and they decided to make our food even though they had already cleaned up for the day Within ten minutes we had our food plus some lemonades for my kids which they absolutely loved and some ice cream sandwiches! Thank you so much three chopt for your kindness and for going above and beyond for your customers. My whole family enjoyed every bite of their food! I’ve been here several times over the years and it’s always a wonderful experience but tonight was something we’ve never had happen at any other establishment we willBe back again and again!

Fresh foods, made to order, friendly and local! Love this place so much and the variety of sandwiches! Best Chicken Salad I've ever had and the Road Warrior is awesome as well. So much to choose from, haven't had anything I didn't like.

Very friendly, welcoming place! They had several signs out front about wearing a face covering and the nice server handled 3 parties without wearing masks very professionally!Food was really, really good and great value. You can tell why they have been around 33 years! Keep up the great work!

They got a last minute order ready for me super fast and it was so delicious! I am very appreciative that they were able to accommodate my order with little notice. Great service and great group of people!

Always great sandwiches and friendly staff. Today I had a chili cheeseburger. One of the best burgers in H'ville.

Owner ALWAYS "waves" & says "Hello" to me from behind the counter in the kitchen. But, I'm sure he acknowledges ALL, not just Me! Each time I have visited this cozy eatery for a bite, I feel right at home! The waitstaff & the owner are very Kind...welcoming me into their Pleasant Atmosphere.I would give them 100 STARS for EXCELLENCE in all the above, plus their FOOD is Pretty Darn Good, as I have tried many different types of sandwiches. Their produce/vegetables are FRESH, also. I also LOVE the fact that "Three Chopt" sits off on a side street & not on Main St. with all the traffic & pedestrians. That's a Bonus!I love you guys & I'll be back AGAIN & Again!!

Update April 2020. Three Copt is still dishing out with a limited take out arrangement meaning no outdoor seating, just take out. They still seem to have their full menu of you favorite sandwiches and dishes you enjoy. Please take note on how to order. If you are new or need a change to a local mom and pop store, Three Chopt has been part of the supportive community for years. Food is always consistent, good, and nutritious. Typically only locals have known about this small gem in Hendersonville. The vibe is like coming home to a family table. The owners / chef treat this establishment like it’s part of their home. They share many of their sports memorabilia around their restaurant. It truly is a gem off Main Street. -Bon appétit.

The chicken salad on pumpernickel is incredible! The restaurant is tucked away on a side street and I just happened to find it by accident but I’m so happy I did. The owner was warm and friendly and went out of his way to speak as we were leaving. We will absolutely return the next time we’re in town!

Always fantastic food & great service! Very casual but fun place to share a meal with friends & family!

We visited from Wisconsin and looked up the menu on line. I saw soup was 1.00 add on with a sandwich. When I got the bill was told their menu was not updated on line and the soup is 2.99. They would not honor the 1.00 add on. The soup was not even good I was so disappointed chicken minestrone with over cooked noodles. My husbands philly steak was dripping grease. Not happy my family I am visiting said they will not return........

This is my favorite "go to" place. So many choices. Friendly atmosphere. Funky fun vibe. Absolutely love this place!

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here yesterday. I had a chicken salad sandwich and the best potato soup that I have ever had. My friend had a yummy Greek salad with chicken. The service was not only warm and friendly, but our order was out incredibly fast, it was accurate and best of all delicious. When I told one of the owners how much I loved the soup she surprised me with a complimentary to go order of it to enjoy later! That was so kind of her! The owners both mingled with patrons and ensured that everyone was happy. I definitely give them all thumbs up. Restrooms were clean, and the dining area was nice and clean, from dirty tables.

I've eaten here more than 10 times. Unhurried ambience. Attentive staff. Many choices of lunchtime dishes (I'm a vegetarian). Cafe owners are good community members.

I ordered half garden salad half turkey sandwich. It was good. Nothing special. I did like the chunks of cheese instead of grated cheese on my salad.

Very rude Asian waitress! Had to wear mask which is fine to go in... But she brought popcorn and then told us that we had to put mask back on until she left. Which we didn't order. She was very rude. The worst part was that she kept talking about us! We have ate there lots of times. We have never been treated like this before.

Have eaten here a few times and the food has just been “okay”. The salad I ordered was waaaay too small to be $9. Barely any veggies. Was more of a side salad portion. The staff is SUPER friendly though so it makes me sad I haven’t enjoyed the food more. SIDE NOTE: On the menu it says- “side of cottage cheese”- didn’t expect it ON the salad, wish this were more clear on the menu : (
